Our Window System

At Windows USA®, we love to create amazing windows that inspire imagination and excitement in changing how your home looks and feels with a focus on making sure that each product is individually designed and crafted with a promise to exceed your expectations.

Energy Star Windows for San Antonio Area Residents

Windows USA windows are ENERGY STAR certified for South-Central and Southern climate zones. According to ENERGY STAR, “Replacing old windows with ENERGY STAR certified windows lowers household energy bills by an average of up to 13 percent nationwide when replacing single-pane windows. Lower energy consumption also reduces greenhouse-gas emissions from power plants and homes.”

Rebates & Tax Incentives :

According to the IRS’ Energy-Efficient Home Improvement Credit program, “if you make qualified energy-efficient improvements to your home after Jan. 1 2023, you may qualify for a tax credit,” which for windows is capped at $600 per year and for sliding glass doors at $250 per door per year.

The state of Texas expects to open its version of the Home Energy Efficiency Rebate (HOMES) program in summer 2025. Qualified window purchases appear likely to receive tax credits equal to 30 percent of the window cost, up to $600. Check the final rules and application details once the program is active.

Why San Antonio Homeowners Need Windows USA Windows and Sliding Patio Doors!

San Antonio's climate swings from winter lows near 41 °F to summer highs around 105 °F, with recorded extremes outside that range. All Windows USA windows have multi-chambered vinyl frames that limit thermal transfer, plus an innovative sash-interlocking system that exceeds industry standards for air- and water-infiltration resistance.

San Antonio Metropolitan Area Rain Makes Choosing the Right Windows and Patio Doors Critical

According to the National Centers for Environmental Information, San Antonio receives roughly 25 – 45 inches of precipitation annually. Our Intercept® Ultra spacer, continuous sash-interlock, and discreet weep holes shed water while maintaining an airtight seal.

Sunlight Strength in the San Antonio Metroplex Is an Important Factor in Window Selection!

According to the CDC UV Tracking tool, Texas sits on the higher end of the national UV-exposure scale.

UV radiation’s impact on you: Ordinary glass passes UVA rays, and the Skin Cancer Foundation notes UVA is a main cause of premature skin aging.

UV impact on windows & home: Ultraviolet exposure degrades vinyl, fabrics, flooring, and artwork.

Windows USA’s windows and patio doors have a UV inhibitor so the vinyl color will not fade, flake, or peel even under extreme conditions. The glass in our windows and patio doors is triple-layer coated; it blocks solar gain and 95 % of UV rays, rejects heat without dark tint, and improves winter insulation.

San Antonians should also consider daily sun path versus window orientation. The DOE Consumer Guide to Energy-Efficient Windows explains how orientation can alter technical requirements.

The Prevalence of Tornadoes in the San Antonio Area Is Another Factor

The NOAA Storm Prediction Center shows many parts of Texas, including the San Antonio region, receive a relatively high tornado count. No residential window can survive a direct hit, but properly selected windows and patio doors increase resistance to extreme weather.

San Antonio Air Quality and How That Impacts Your Choice of Windows and Sliding Patio Doors

According to the EPA Air Quality System, most of Texas enjoys good air quality, with occasional particulate spikes in San Antonio. Airtight Intercept® Ultra spacers and our sash-interlocking system help keep outdoor pollutants outside.

Noise Exposure for San Antonio Residents

The U.S. DOT noise map shows higher noise levels near San Antonio's highways, rail lines, and airports. Our argon-filled double-pane glass dampens exterior noise—ideal for San Antonio's busy corridors.

Our double pane vinyl windows are designed to provide superior insulation, reducing energy costs and enhancing comfort year-round. Here's why our windows are perfect for San Antonio area homes:

  • Energy Efficiency: Our double-pane vinyl windows, infused with argon gas, significantly reduce heat transfer, keeping your home cool in summer and warm in winter.
  • Durability: Unlike wood and aluminum windows, vinyl resists warping, cracking, and corrosion with minimal maintenance.
  • Noise Reduction: Dual panes block outside noise—perfect for Houston’s bustling neighborhoods.
  • Enhanced Security: Advanced locking mechanisms add a layer of protection.

Tailored Solutions for San Antonio Homes

We offer custom window solutions for San Antonio, New Braunfels, Kerrville, Timberwood Park, Seguin, Schertz, Cibolo, Pleasanton, and the entire Greater San Antonio area.

Why Replace Your Old Windows?

  • Improved Energy Efficiency: Single-pane windows are poor insulators.
  • Increased Home Value: New windows boost curb appeal and resale price.
  • Enhanced Comfort: Eliminate drafts and uneven temp
